I know. I've been there. Prayer becomes that laundry list of this and this and this and oh, yeah... Almost forgot about that!

And then the guilt avalanche. I don't spend enough time praying. I don't pray the right way. I'm not saying the right things. If I were better at praying God would answer me or at least hear me.

And my personal guilt trip... God doesn't talk to me the way he seems to talk to other believers.

I've said every one of these things... or at least thought them.

And then... God gave me a shoulder nudge and said...

Girl, calm down. Let's get a coffee and create something. You listen better when you're creating...

And I heard Him. Actually, heard Him, not as an audible voice but a heart voice. "The Color of Listening" Art*Full Prayer came from that coffee chat.
