How’s your prayer life? Is it more like an awkward first date than an endearing coffee with an old friend? Totally get it. Do you struggle with what to say or feel like it’s one long complaint session?  Maybe talking to God is more like a visit to the principal’s office… YIKES!

What if convos with God… otherwise known as prayer, were more like bursting through the door at your best friend’s house, cuz it’s always open for ya, dishin’ on the day, catching up, and plannin’ your next great adventure together?

Coloring with DAD

Wouldn’t sitting down with a cup of something cozy and coloring with your DAD be easier? Isn’t it easier to be real when you’re doing something with your hands… together with someone ya love? The conversation is intimate. The thoughts and ideas build on themselves. The next thing you know you look up and an hour and a half has flown by. When was the last time you chatted with God for an hour and a half and not once looked at the clock?

Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! And that’s exactly what “Art*Full Prayer” is. Wait, what? I know these pics look like some kindergarten assignment, and yet. Isn’t that exactly what Christ asks us to do?

Each Art*Full Prayer session brings you one step at a time into easy conversation with, well, the Creator of the Universe. Don’t be intimidated by His title, YOU are the apple of His eye!

Creative prayer is about gaining new perspectives, being peace, talking to God in the middle of chaos and so much more.

You can create these prayers on 8×8 mixed media paper,  perfect for framing as a group or sprinkling throughout the house as the reminder He adores chatting with you, in an art journal or even on random paper. I would suggest, if ya use random paper, grab a binder and pop them in so you can be reminded of the time and beauty you’ve created with the Father. And you guessed it. The supplies can be as simple or fancy as you like. Use what you already have and don’t be concerned with purchasing the “right” art stuff.
